Dear Brook Avenue Families,

Welcome to an exciting new school year at Brook Avenue! My name is Ms. Madi Lozano, and I am thrilled to be your second-grade teacher. With six years of experience in the Waco Independent School District (WISD), I began my career as a Literacy Aide in first and second-grade classrooms. Over the past three years, I have expanded my expertise by providing behavior support to students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. This diverse experience has equipped me with the skills to address various student needs and foster a supportive learning environment.

Outside of school, I am actively involved in my local community, volunteering at my church's children's department. I enjoy organizing events for Easter, Halloween, and Christmas, which allows me to connect with children in fun and meaningful ways.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Family Studies from Tarleton University, and I am excited to bring my passion for education to Brook Avenue in my first year here. My focus is on building a classroom community where communication and safe behavior are prioritized. I believe that by working together, we can create a nurturing and productive environment for our students to thrive.

Thank you for your support and collaboration. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth with your children.

Best regards,
Ms. Lozano
