My name is Matthew Brewster. I am a fourth grade math teacher at Brook Avenue Elementary. This will be my 11th year of teaching and my 6th year at Brook Avenue. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where I obtained a degree in Social Work.
In my classroom I strive to create a family of collaborative learners who value each other and their education. We understand that through hard work and dedication we can achieve anything we put our minds to. Being safe, respectful, and responsible are core values that we uphold with integrity and honesty.

Hi! I’m Ms. Garcia, and I’m heading into my 9th year at Brook Avenue. This year I will be teaching 4th Grade ELAR. I’m passionate about helping students grow into confident readers and writers. In our classroom, we track progress, celebrate every step, and cheer on the “a-ha!” moments. My purpose in all of this is to share a love of reading so every student finds stories that inspire, challenge, and empower them. I’m so excited for a great year!

Hello! I am Ms. Sanchez. This is my 9th year teaching at our school, and I’m excited to be working with 4th grade Bilingual this year. I have a true passion for teaching and believe my purpose is to inspire a love of learning, build confidence, and help each student reach their full potential. I love watching my students grow, gain independence, and thrive both in and out of the classroom. I’m thrilled to begin a new school year and can’t wait to see what the future holds for our class!
