My name is Matthew Brewster. I am a fourth grade teacher at Brook Avenue Elementary. This will be my 10th year of teaching and my 6th year at Brook Avenue. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas where I obtained a degree in Social Work.
In my classroom I strive to create a family of collaborative learners who value each other and their education. We understand that through hard work and dedication we can achieve anything we put our minds to. Being safe, respectful, and responsible are core values that we uphold with integrity and honesty.

My name is Amy Foreman. I will be starting my 21st year teaching 4th grade at Brook Avenue. I have spent the last 12 years at Alta Vista and feel like Waco ISD family is my home. I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches and graduated with my teaching degree in 2005.
I am a wife, mother of 5, and grandma (Mamie) to 7 wonderful blessings. I love to cook (southern comfort food), bake and read. I love teaching and watching my students grow. I love that I've taught long enough that students keep in touch with me, like am part of their family. I value a strong classroom family, where we are all participants in our learning community.
