Hello! My name is Ms. Picazo, and I am excited to join the Brook Avenue family as the new Dual Language Pre-K teacher.
I have been teaching for 11 years, and my passion is creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment.
As a former English language learner myself, I understand the importance of celebrating every child’s culture and language while building strong foundations for their future.
I look forward to partnering with families to help each child discover the joy of learning and the confidence to shine in both English and Spanish.

Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Pre-K! My name is Ms. Yohana Bustamante, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year. I have had the pleasure of working with Waco ISD for the past 5 years, and I am eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm into our classroom.
In our Pre-K class, we will embark on a wonderful journey of learning and discovery together. I believe in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where every child feels valued and inspired. My goal is to help each student develop a love for learning while building essential skills through play and exploration.
Outside the classroom, I have a passion for traveling and learning about different people and cultures. These experiences enrich my teaching and allow me to bring diverse perspectives into our classroom activities.
