Hello!
I am excited to serve as the At-Risk Specialist at Brook Avenue Elementary this year. I look forward to working alongside our students, families, and staff to ensure every child receives the support and encouragement they need to be successful. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping students overcome challenges and reach their full potential. After teaching 2nd grade, I transitioned into dyslexia instruction, where I discovered my passion for providing targeted support to students with diverse learning needs. This new role allows me to continue advocating for students while helping remove barriers to their success.
I cherish spending quality time with my family, finding joy in any activity we share together. In my personal moments, I find peace and inspiration through reading the Bible. As an educator, what I love most is helping students recognize their strengths, build confidence, and achieve goals they may not have thought possible.
One of my favorite quotes is, “A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it, it just blooms,” which reminds me of the importance of nurturing each student’s unique journey and celebrating the growth of every child.

Estoy emocionada de servir como Especialista de Estudiantes en Riesgo en la Primaria Brook Avenue este año. Espero trabajar junto a nuestros estudiantes, familias y personal para asegurar que cada niño reciba el apoyo y la motivación que necesita para tener éxito. A lo largo de mi carrera, me ha apasionado ayudar a los estudiantes a superar desafíos y alcanzar su máximo potencial. Después de enseñar segundo grado, hice la transición a la enseñanza de dislexia, donde descubrí mi pasión por brindar apoyo específico a estudiantes con diversas necesidades de aprendizaje. Este nuevo puesto me permite continuar abogando por nuestros estudiantes mientras ayudo a eliminar barreras que puedan impedir su éxito.
Valoro profundamente pasar tiempo de calidad con mi familia y encuentro alegría en cualquier actividad que compartimos juntos. En mis momentos personales, encuentro paz e inspiración al leer la Biblia. Como educadora, lo que más me gusta es ayudar a los estudiantes a reconocer sus fortalezas, desarrollar confianza en sí mismos y alcanzar metas que quizás nunca imaginaron posibles.
Una de mis citas favoritas es: “Una flor no piensa en competir con la flor que tiene al lado, simplemente florece.” Esta frase me recuerda la importancia de apoyar el camino único de cada estudiante y celebrar el crecimiento de cada niño.
